The Coastal Fire Centre has reinstated the total fire ban as of noon July 16, 2026.  Only CSA or ULC approved propane appliances are allowed.

The Coastal Fire Centre has reinstated the total fire ban as of noon July 16, 2026.  Only CSA or ULC approved propane appliances are allowed.

Stage 2 Water Use Restrictions in effect

May 03, 2026

Due to exceptionally dry conditions, SPID is under Stage 2 Water Use Restrictions, effective immediately. Limit watering/sprinkling to 3 hours between 10pm-10am. Full info chart posted at mailboxes within SPID and at spid.ca - Water Department -SPID Water Use Restrictions.
