Open Burning Ban

The Coastal Fire Centre has lifted the total fire ban however open burning is still prohibited. Only campfires in Fire Chief approved appliances are permitted.
Stage 2 Water Use Restrictions in effect

Due to exceptionally dry conditions, SPID is under Stage 2 Water Use Restrictions, effective immediately. Limit watering/sprinkling to 3 hours between 10pm-10am. Full info chart posted at mailboxes within SPID and at spid.ca - Water Department -SPID Water Use Restrictions.
